The Winnipeg location is our high-tech, high-volume manufacturing facility. Every single Canadian circulation coin is produced here— literally billions each year. Established in 1976, the Winnipeg plant occupies a 14,864 m2 state-of-the-art facility.

Virtual Tours
The Winnipeg Royal Canadian Mint is offering virtual tours. Our 35-45 minute virtual tour entertains and educates guests with their own personal tour guide. Each of our tour guides is well trained in the history and storytelling that make the Royal Canadian Mint a uniquely Canadian experience. Learn about the pride and passion our employees bring to coin making for Canada and up to 80 countries around the world.

Tour Information
Our 45 minute tours are fun, educational and perfect for all ages. Every tour is personally lead by one of our knowledgeable guides who will walk you through the production process, offer insights on our major milestones and entertain you with unique stories about the Mint.
