The Royal Canadian Mint (the Mint) is hiring a Senior Advisor, Organizational Change Management (OCM) who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, OCM, the Senior Advisor, OCM supports the design, development and implementation of organizational change management methodologies, framework, tools and systems along with a team of change experts and partners with business leaders to build change management capabilities to enable a portfolio of change initiatives. The Senior Advisor, OCM is also responsible for building the change capability at the Mint through coaching, learning and providing ongoing support to the business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Change Management Practice’s development including implementation, monitoring and improvement of the methodology, framework and approaches
- Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change related to programs and projects.
- Maintain and enhance change practice tools and templates.
- Conduct needs analysis to identify the scope and impact of a change initiative.
- Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.
- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
- Measure effectiveness of change management plans, recommend adjustments, monitor and evaluate the performance and sustainability once the change has been implemented.
- Collaborate with Employee Communications team to ensure messaging related to change initiatives is published to corporate standards.
- Develop communication objectives, strategies and key messages for intended audiences.
- Facilitate workshops, learning offerings, offer coaching and support.
- Develop, maintain and update training, coaching, and knowledge transfer plans on projects.
- Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement mitigation or corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- University degree in related area OR acceptable combination of education, related experience and training.
- Minimum of 5 years of related business experience
- Knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, processes and approaches
- Demonstrated project management skills and organisational skills, including the ability to manage a diverse workload and multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to manage effectively under pressure for meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
