Please note: Subject to the exceptions below, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it to us in its original packaging within 30 days, and we will gladly replace it; if the product is sold out, you will receive a full refund.
Exceptions: Premium Bullion in special packaging, or any Mint product advertised and/or sold with a suggested retail price greater than $500,000 CAD before any applicable taxes, are final sale (they cannot be returned or exchanged, and are not eligible for refund for any reason). Exceptionally, in the event of a damaged, defective or incorrect product purchased through the Mint online (whether by mobile app or on mint.ca) or via the call centre, you may contact the Mint's Customer Service Solutions Centre within 14 calendar days after shipment to request an exchange for the same product originally purchased (subject to product availability), where the Mint will, at its discretion, evaluate exchange requests on a case-by-case basis.
The purchaser or the importer, as applicable, is responsible for the payment of applicable taxes and customs duties, including but not limited to HST/GST, tariffs, ad valorem, excise, governmental charges and any other duty or tax. If the coins are returned due to the failure by the purchaser or the importer, as applicable, to make payment of applicable taxes and customs duties, the purchaser will pay the return shipping charges and assume all risk of loss in the return shipment.
The Royal Canadian Mint may require that you sign a receipt of delivery in person for your order from the shipper. In such cases, if you change or waive this requirement to allow for your order to be dropped off without your receipt signature, you have unilaterally changed the shipping terms and the Royal Canadian Mint is not liable and not responsible to you for any loss, theft or damage to your order at delivery.
