All four coins feature a design by Canadian artist Lisa Thomson-Khan that celebrates Canada's 150th anniversary through a natural portrait of a Canadian icon. Asingle engraved leaf from a red maple tree (Acer rubrum) gently falls upon a bed of leaves against the reverse proof background.
